FAQ

What is Sam Risso Foundation?

Sam Risso Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in their early recovery. We provide resources for treatment and funding for transitional living.

SRF began in West Palm Beach, FL in 2021 when our founders Liz Chelak and Anya Schwab decided to continue the legacy of Sam Risso who helped recovering addicts before his passing. They started this mission with one goal in mind- to help those who need it most without judgment or pressure.

What areas do you serve?

While we are located in West Palm Beach, FL we provide support to participants around the U.S. Our peer support team is located in Florida, but we do virtual peer support as well. We have resources for detox, treatment, and transitional living across the country.

Where does the money go?

SRF uses your donations to carry out the mission of our organization. This means that money goes toward our programs that provide housing, basic needs, peer support, and treatment.

How can I get involved?

We appreciate your interest in supporting SRF. There are a number of ways to get involved. The simplest way to help us is with a donation. You can also volunteer or share our message on social media (@samrissofoundation).
